1715 rare pattern Dog nose tablespoon by William Scarlett 42g see photos
£440.00
This is a rare spoon made in London in 1715 by William Scarlett. It is in very good condition, nice clear hallmarks , very good bowl and rat tail, what makes this special is the original decoration on the front of the handle, I have seen rare spoons by Scarlett before with a ridge down the front but never this pattern. It is 20cms long and weighs 42 grams, it has lovely period owners initials R over WM over E.
A rare early 18th century collectors spoon
