This is a lovely caster made in London in 1721 by top caster maker Samuel Welder. It is in very good condition, it is the higher Britannia standard with clear hallmarks under the base and matching maker in the lid. It is a large size, 17cms high and weighs 190g.

A fine early 18th century caster.
