1724 fine George 1st Britannia standard basting spoon by William Scarlett 120g

£540.00

This is a lovely spoon made in London in 1724 probably by William Scarlett, it is in very good condition, fine bowl and rat tail, it is the higher Britannia standard silver, the hallmarks are all good except the rubbed maker but I am sure its Scarlett, it also has the Journey mans mark P that I have see on a lot of Scarlett spoons, it is 30cms long and weighs 120 grams.

A fine early 18th century spoon
