1755 rare George 11 Scottish soup ladle with twisted handle by Lothian & Robertson

This is a rare ladle made in Edinburgh in c1755 by Lothian and Robertson. It is in very good condition, the hallmarks are maker , Edinburgh town mark and assay master Hugh Gordon, no sign of a date letter, it might have got lost in the twist. This is an unusual ladle with the twisted handle, it is peculiar to Scotland, it also has a nice shell bowl. It is 39cms long and weighs 212 grams, it has a nice Eagle crest.
