This is a very attractive basket made in London in c1790 by William Plummer. It is in very good condition. the hallmarks are rubbed but the makers mark is clear, it has lovely beaded and bright cut decoration, it has 2 thistle crests and a clear glass liner. It is 12cms high excluding the handle and has 120 grams of silver.

A fine 18th century basket.
