This is a really good quality basket made in Dublin in 1796 by George West. It is in very good condition, really nice shape,very clear hallmarks under the base with matching maker on the handle. It has beautiful period bright cut decoration and an Eagle crest. It is a good size, 17cms long and weighs 245 grams.

A fine piece of 18th century Irish silver.
