This is a lovely jug made in Sheffield in 1797 by Nathaniel Smith. It is in very good condition, at one time feet had been added then removed, what makes this special is the hallmarks, it has the very rare double duty mark only used between July 1797 and August 1798. It is 10cms high and weighs 85 grams.

A rare piece of 18th century provincial silver.
