This is a very stylish toast rack made in London in c1800 by Peter and Anne Bateman. The hallmarks are clear maker but the date letter is obscured under a minor repair in the rim. It has a lovely loop handle and reeded feet, it is 18cms long x 16cms high and weighs 120 grams. 

A really nice Bateman toast rack.
