This is a very pretty basket made in Birmingham in 1837 by Taylor and Perry, it is in very good condition, nice clear hallmarks, it has the rare Abbotsford house embossed in the base, these are called Castle top because you usually see the design in the lids of Vinaigrettes and snuff boxes, rarely in baskets, it has a lovely swing handle, it is 13cms diameter and weighs 100 grams
