This is a really interesting ladle made in the early 18th century, it is hallmarked PB and Sta I have seen the Sta mark for Sterling in books for early Chester silver but cannot find the maker PB , it needs more research, it is 33cms long and had a lovely period wooden handle. 

A very interesting piece of 18th century provincial silver
