This is a rare pair of Wine coasters made in Sheffield in 1775 by John Rowbotham and Co, the Sheffield assay office only opened in 1773, they are in very good condition, good hallmarks, they are in the Adams style, the have the original wooden bases, they are 13cms diameter.
