This is an unusual pattern ladle made in London in 1782 by Hester Bateman, it is in very good condition, lightly rubbed but readable hallmarks, it has a reeded handle and a most unusual Delamerie style drop on the back of the bowl, see photo, it is 35cms long and weighs 162 grams, it has a period Lion crest.
