This is a stunning pair of casters made in London in 1708 by William Fawdry, they are in very good condition, the hallmarks are rubbed, the makers mark is readable as is the Lions head erased, the date letter is very rubbed but under strong magnification it looks like 1708, the Lions Head erased is also on the lids, they have a beautiful period Armorial crest, they are 15cms high and weigh 350 grams the pair
