This is a very rare pair of castors made in Dublin in 1740 possibly by John Loughlin. They are in very good condition, nice pierced lids, they are the unusual Irish shape. The hallmarks are rubbed but I can see Hibernia and the harp on both , the date letter for 1740 on one and the maker ?L on the other. They are graduated, one is 11cms high the other is 13cms high and they weigh a combined 210 grams.
