This is a lovely salver made in London in 1748 by Hugh Mills, it is in very good condition, very clear hallmarks, what makes this a bit special is the lovely period crest and motto SUB TEGMINE for the Gordon Clan,  it has a fine cast border and feet, it is 17cms diameter and weighs 286 grams
