This is a wonderful set of butter shells made in Newcastle in 1754. They are in very good condition, the hallmarks are scattered across the lips, some are hard to read, you can see the town marks and a couple of date letters but the maker is very rubbed. They are are a good size, 10cms long they weigh a heavy 316 grams the set. The stand on 3 hoof feet.
