This is a wonderful pair of sauce boats made in London in 1771 by Thomas Hemming, they are in very good condition, lovely cast fluted body and foot, they have have unusual Snake handles, they have a period crest and motto, the hallmarks are good except the rubbed maker but I can see it on one, they are 15cms long and weigh 445 grams the pair.

A fine pair of 18th century sauce boats
